This live workshop will focus on the latest version of "Avid Media Composer 2020.12", "Avid | Edit on Demand" and "Avid Editorial Management". Specialists Kolja Christowzik (Broadcast Solutions P&S) and Dirk Weinreich (Avid) will show you the new possibilities of the products and how you can use them for collaborative work, even remotely.

Avid MediaComposer 2020.12 offers many improvements and enhancements in terms of the user interface, AudioMixer, Title Tool, colour spaces, as well as formats (e.g. H265 Decode & Export).

Avid | Edit On Demand is a "post-production environment" in the cloud, i.e. 1 to 30 Avid Media Composers can be booked together with up to 200 TB Avid NEXIS storage via a PCoIP connection (Remote Desktop). The Media Composer is virtualised and thus represents a "Remote Workflow Solution". Working with an Edit on Demand environment behaves like a local Avid Media Composer and Avid NEXIS installation. Several editors can thus work decentral on a joint project.

Avid Editorial Management provides access to an on-premise Avid NEXIS file system with Media Composer projects via a Chrome browser. Media files can be found, sorted and expanded based on metadata. Shot lists can be created via a Chrome browser, and markers can be set and further processed for the further work process at a local editing suite.
